New web host, new look! Bear with me while I set things up and make sure the content and links I had before are updated in the coming weeks.

Invitation to Collaborate

This is for Jewish professional colleagues I've "met" in the Dreaming Up High Holy Days 2020 Facebook group. I'm Jon Spira-Savett, rabbi serving at Temple Beth Abraham in Nashua, New Hampshire. I am hosting a meeting or series of meetings for people interested in exploring a collaboration deeper and more sustained than posting and responding the Facebook group. Read on to see what I have in mind, and then for the registration link.

I am looking for a group of colleagues interesting in talking about doing these kinds of things:

  • meeting regularly (by Zoom obviously) over the next few months to plan in coordination and/or parallel
  • swapping or sharing ourselves with each other's congregations, so that if there are multiple offerings during the Yamim Nora'im we might offer many things to a collaborative of our congregations
  • possibly even exploring new business models or organizing models, for a time or for longer, that make sense for our communities and our institutions and for ourselves as professionals

You can be from any kind, size, or demographic of shul as far as I'm concerned.

Feel free to send me a note if that's confusing or needs clarification — e-mail me at rabbi@tbanashua.org.

I am going to limit the conversation to 10 at a time. If there's more interest I'll schedule more right away. The first one will be this Thursday, May 14 from 12:00-1:15 p.m. Eastern time. Register here.

Thanks,
Jon
